How would you describe your photography style?

I would describe my style as documentary, meaning that I focus on capturing your day as it plays out naturally and keep posing to a minimum. My favorite photographs are usually of the ‘in-between’ moments when people are either unaware or have completely forgotten about the camera.

If your style is mostly candid, will I still get formal, posed portraits?

Yes, you will. Typically I will pose during bridal portraits and group/family photos. I like to keep this portion of the day short and sweet however, as I believe it is important that you get back to mingling with your friends and family as soon as possible.

Do you shoot weddings in digital, film, or both?

Both! I have both digital and film cameras and probably shoot 50 percent digital, 50 percent film. The reason being is that I am just a total photography nerd. I love the quality of film and it has always been my preferred medium. Selected film photos are included in every package offered!

How much should I expect to invest for your most basic package?

My most basic elopement package (which includes 4 hours of coverage) starts at $3000. This package is ideal if you plan on eloping or having a micro wedding of 40 guests or fewer.

Are travel fees included in the cost?

Yes, travel fees are included for locations in and around Portland, Oregon! Travel costs outside of the region are on a case by case basis.

Is there a retainer fee?

Yes, there is a non-refundable retainer due at signing. A $1000 retainer secures my photography services on your wedding day!

How long after the wedding will we receive the images? How will they be delivered?

I ask all of my couples to allow up to eight weeks for their fully edited wedding albums to be delivered. Your images will be delivered using an online platform called Pic-Time. This platform makes it easy to download and share photos with all of your loved ones!
